This was the 50th Volvo bus delivered to Westbus, and carried special signwriting advertising the fact. It was completed on September 24th 1984. It was registered m/o 7457. In all, over 160 Volvo B10Ms were operated by Westbus.

It entered service for Westbus shortly after in 1984 from Northmead depot, operating services around the Parramatta and the Hills areas, later being incorporated into the new operation of Hillsbus.

In February 2013 the bus was deregistered, after spending its final months as a school bus in the Hunter Valley. In August 2013, CDC donated the bus to the Museum for preservation.

A small but dedicated band of volunteers commenced restoring the bus, with assistance from Volvo Bus Australia and Custom Coaches. The bus was resprayed into its original Westbus livery and has been signwritten as the 50th Volvo for Westbus as it was when delivered.
